Patrons rave about the authentic taste and generous portions of the food, with standout items like caldo de res and various tacos earning high praise. The freshly made tortillas truly set this restaurant apart, adding a homemade touch that enhances each dish. Customers often mention the quick service and the attentiveness of the staff, making dining here a pleasure.
Many enjoy grabbing their favorite drink, such as the flavorful café de olla, while lounging in the cozy seating area. For families, the kids' menu and availability of high chairs make it a welcoming spot for all ages.
Most Disliked
Some diners have noted that the nachos, while crispy and enjoyable, may be on the smaller side compared to other dishes, leaving some to wish for more. Others have expressed disappointment when the restaurant reaches full capacity, especially during peak times like Sunday mornings. The wait for a table can stretch longer during these busy hours, impacting the overall dining experience.
While the vibe is predominantly relaxed, occasional noise from the TV can distract from conversations, especially when it features fast-paced shows.

This is a nice quiet restaurant in a small strip mall. It's definitely a hidden gem in the up and coming Bellflower restaurant scene. The nachos were tiny, crispy triangles served covered in nacho cheese and more - see pics. My wife had the caldo de res. The waitress was present and attentive. The walls were beautifully decorated - see pics. One TV hangs towards the center playing Spanish TV shows. Some people were waiting for takeout, they come and go, but the ambiance is calm and chill. We'll be going back for sure.
